First! The first post of 'Sticky Moments', and I'm ready to stick it to ya. This blog starts off unsure of it's potential and willing to share that with the world. Much as I am committed to simple drawings, I am now committed to simple engineering. I hope this blog serves as a daily uplift in your day. I hope to make you laugh, make you cringe, and possibly offend. Furthermore, I hope to incite you to return to this blog to check the daily drawings as I attempt to refine and evolve.
Let's raise our pencil erasers and backspace bars to celebrate the unrefined beginnings of all great achievements with my first spelling error — Hello, my name is Chris Garvey and I thank you for visiting my bloug.
First is the worst, and that's lovely.

Blog all information can be compatible with the rest of the world, and that's good.

I just found the site and read every one so I could get caught up...then subscribed to the feed. Funny stuff.
Question: Why exactly do you "hope to...possibly offend"? Sure, there were some of these that were over the edge for my sensibilities, but that is your prerogative as the artist...even if I think it is silly. Is there something positive about offending people? I seem to do it more than I want to and you want to do it more if you can? Just curious.

Thanks for writing, and following the site. I come from a Graphic Design background, so my professional work is constantly being evaluated by client's measures and balances. In order for this site to remain a true hobby with integrity, I need to not censor what I put on the site (re not worry about what others think). The end goal is simply to have fun. Putting "possibly offend" in the profile is a little bit of a reminder to me to just put the drawings out there and take all the feedback (positive and negative) in stride.
Thanks,
Sticky AKA Chris
